Carta Incognita

Imagine the famous magician's grail, the ACAAN, brought up to date in the purest possible way.

You propose to go further than this classic trick, by reversing the roles:

All the cards in the deck are white, each with a number between 1 and 52. A prediction is placed on the table. You ask the spectator to announce any card aloud, then to spell out one card per letter himself: he will then come across a numbered card. The prediction is turned over, matching the number.

This is just one of the effects you can achieve with this booklet, which describes in detail a method, not just a trick. Imagination will be your only limit.

A few key points:

• The magician never touches the deck of cards, which can be left in the spectator's hands even before the trick begins and for the duration of the experiment.
• The magician never touches the prediction, which can also be left in the spectator's hands before the experiment begins.
• There's no game-changing, no prediction-changing - as incredible as it may seem, it's really happening as described!
• There's no card with two identical numbers, and all the numbers from 1 to 52 are present in the deck.
• All you need is a blank set on which to write the numbers (or any other symbols you like). Alternatively, we have a set already printed with the numbers right here.
