A newcomer to the world of magic: Mach 5. Nothing to do with the speed of sound, even if the initiative seems to be meeting with dazzling interest! MACH stands for Magie Art Culture Humanisme.
Behind this initiative are a large number of professional magicians, supporting the project in various ways: Domi Nho, Viktor Vincent, Guilhem Julia, Gabriel Werlen, and many others.
So, what's the aim of this new association? The project is as ambitious as it is essential (and that's why we're supporting it!): to create a genuine forum for the exchange, creation and culture of magic in France.
In concrete terms, a theater will be created to welcome magicians who wish to present their show, or to have a space dedicated to coaching or rehearsing their act.
A museum/library will be built to enable artists who wish to learn more about the history of our art form to do so, through a collection of documents that will be enriched over the years.
A workshop will be available for magicians to create their own illusions, not forgetting a convivial area where anyone can discuss our art, an essential cog in the development of new ideas or partnerships - in short, everything we need to take our art to the next level!
All this will be brought together in a Palais de la magie, to be located in Paris.
Obviously, all this has a cost, and the association is looking for patrons, generous donors, but also people motivated to help! A simple membership to this association will give a boost to this incredible initiative! Let's hear it!
